Mark Pixley is a facilitator of organizational transformation. He works with senior managers to design and facilitate their organization’s change processes including strategic planning, corporate and individual visioning, team building, customers service, personality styles, and organizational culture assessment. These programs are custom designed to meet the client’s situation and needs. Some recent client engagements included:

• A two-day Asian Regional Knowledge Management Conference for a major advertising company utilizing Open Space and developing a regional strategic plan.
• A two-day Effective Group Decisionmaking Seminar for the Hong Kong Council of Social Services and their affiliate agencies.
• A five-day Leadership Development Program for the senior management of a Advertising Group. Included extensive work on dialogue, community building, and strategic planning.
• A two-day Facilitation Methods for Senior Managers at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp. (TSMC). Involved introducing the concept of facilitative leadership and small group facilitation skills.
• A two-day Kick-off and Team Building workshop for the Corporate Account Marketing Team for Acer International Computers. Included developing team goal and strategies for this newly established multinational workgroup.
• A two day ISO 9000 Preparation and Training meeting for Excelsior Healthcare. Involved managers from thirty dialysis clinics reviewing their operational processes.
• A one-day Public Speaking Training program for the purchasing office of WalMart.

He has facilitated team development and action planning programs for a variety of non-profit organizations including The eKlub, Asian Business Leadership Exchange, Chinese American Professionals in Taiwan,

Mark Pixley is the organizer and a facilitator of the "Technology of Participation" Facilitation Training Program in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

He speaks on "Self-Structuring Organizations" and "Trends Facing Business" to various corporate and civic organizations. He regularly contributes articles on personal strategy to local magazines. He has researched large-scale participatory processes including Future Search, Open Space, Community Building, and Affirmative Inquiry.

He designed a three-day Personal Leadership Development program, which he lead more than 20 times, for Leadership Management Institute (LMI) in Taiwan, and created and presented a two-day Train-the-Trainer program for 30 personal development trainers.

He is the founder of The Facilitators’ Forums in Taipei and Hong Kong, which meet monthly to discuss issues regarding facilitation. Also, he is the Regional Coordinator, Asia for the International Association of Facilitators.

He is a Member and former President of Prestige Toastmasters. He also is a member of the Organizational Development Network (ODN) and the Association of Quality and Participation (AQP).

He holds a MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University, with majors in Finance and International Business. He received a BA in Political Science from Claremont McKenna College. He has studied Mandarin Chinese at the National Taiwan Normal University.
